Our Services
Private and Grant Tutoring
We provide private and grant tutoring. The grant training is similar to the certificate in woodturning delivered by the AWGB.
Private Sessions include:
2 hour taster – £60,
Half day – £90
Full day tutoring – £160 .
All the private sessions can be purchased as a voucher for your loved ones to be reimbursed at a later date.
WORKSHOPS
We run workshops for the AWGB in youth and novice training on one-day sessions. The cost of the workshops are in line with being members of the AWGB and depending on spaces available at each workshop.

AWGB Youth training dates
2024 are. April 20th and May18th.
AWGB training days are.

You can find a range of our handmade pieces and tools on our website shop. All of our items can be shipped across the UK and we will ensure all orders are posted with a recognised distributor as in inexpress.
All the items in our online shop are also available in our Hartlepool-based workshop.
Commissions
Here at Woodturning Hartlepool, we can undertake one-off or multiple woodturning commissions to your sample or drawings provided at a competitive price.

The club is available for anyone who has already attended paid tuition at Woodturning Hartlepool and been deemed competent. The tuition ensures that we are confident that the member is competent and safe on the lathe.
If under any situation the member is found to be turning unsafe and potentially putting other members in harm’s way then they will be asked to take another paid session to gain more knowledge on the lathe.
The club lathe bookings will be on a 2hr bookable session based on availability to each of the lathes. My tutoring sessions and quantity of lathes used will have priority booking over any other member. If the booked session runs over then a extension on 1hr slots will have to be paid for before continuing the session paid by cash or card reader on site.
