You will have access to all the tools and supplies you’ll need alongside the expertise to teach you the skill and techniques. At the end of your session, you’ll have at least one finished piece to take home with pride. Woodturning Hartlepool offers a unique, tailored experience in a friendly, welcoming environment.
Workshops
A range of workshops for the AWGB in youth and novice training.
Private and Grant Tutoring
Starting from a 2-hour taster session, with half and full-day sessions available.
WOODTURNING CLUB
Bookable sessions with the lathe are available after half a day of paid tuition.

We have a proven track record of helping with mental health issues through woodturning courses, leading to increased self-confidence self-belief and motivation. Successful inclusion of diverse participants has successfully taught individuals with various disabilities, including deafness, paralysis, brain trauma, autism and wheelchair users, Adaptability has made a significant difference in their lives.
By teaching woodturning we can make a difference all be it for a small time. We can build on self-confidence, motivation, and self-belief.
